Why does Mike P not post on this board?

Mke will probably be hanging out on this board some now. He just made a complete ass of himself on the CUSA Boards & got busted in a lie by Lefty.

Actually, I knew Mike P when he attended Univ of Charlotte (UNCC back then). He only lasted 2 semesters before he flunked out. He used to keep us all amused with some of his hilarious tales. He was a fun person to know & I have never had any complaints with him.

 

Is that a joke??? Mike and that pile of shit he calls a sports section have made a career of disrespecting 49er fans and giving horseshit answers to questions.

Go read the 'Judy Rose' thread on cusa talk for just a small sample of his "respect".

Other posters on cusa have been banned for less than Mike has done. I wonder why he has so much disdain for our program.

if you think of your ongoing conversations with persinger as a way to improve 49ers coverage in the observer (which i assume is your goal), then you really need to read some books on negotiations. i don't think that many folks get what they want with your attitude.

however, if your intent is to make people (persinger and whomever else reads the board) think that 49ers fans are single-minded, insulting and ungrateful -- well, carry on. you're winning that battle.

Sorry Larry, no sale here. That sports section is a piece of shit and that is an opinion shared by many. Bad writing aside, they have been disrespecting the 49ers for years and almost all Niner fans that I know agree.

If you dont read the other board then your opinion of how Mike treats Niner fans means nothing to me. He comes on our board blindly defending his staff and is constantly agumentative with our fans.

To answer your question, I dont think that what I write is going to improve our coverage and I am certain that nothing will so it really does not matter. They are an acc paper and I accepted that many years ago by canceling my subsciption. I will never read their paper again and I could not care less if they cover us at all. In this day and age sports pages could not be any more obsolete. The Disturber gets all its 49er info off the message boards anyway.

If I feel inclined to read a newspaper article about our game I go to our opponents paper where we always get better coverage.

Larry, the Observer is the Daily Tarheel. It is sad that the paper thinks it has to cater to the white trash Tarheel fans scattered among the trailer parks of Gastonia and Concord. There are more Observer haters and Tarheel haters than fans, but the paper has a monopoly and AGENDA to blanket all other teams with shitty Tarheel stories. The Observer refuses to "speculate" on the Charlotte's conference destination because Mike says there are no "facts" but then he talks out of the other side of his mouth and allows a story with no facts about Notre Dame to the ACC.

By the way Observer and Mike, who is the genius that ran the picture of Trot Nixon hitting a jack on a full cover shot last week saying he was a former NC State player?? That was just a pure LIE. He never played there, he went pro right out of New Hanover . More proof that the Observer tries to inflate the ACC with ZERO facts.

while we are bashing the Observer. Can I just say that Scott Fowler is a pea brain, David Poole is 1/2 of that, Ron Green needs to quit writing, he's freaking retired and his pisspoor writing shows it, but I will say that Sorensen is pretty damn talented and funny.

tommy tomilson is a liberal lugnut, along with culdesac hating Mary Newsome, and the entire editorial dept.

Lawerence Toppman the movie guy might be the biggest assclown up there. This dude recommends movis like "the Talented Mr Ripley" with men having butt sex all over the place, but shoots down "Old School." He also said A.I. was great.
