Here is how the Scientific Method works: You post a conjecture, then YOU provide the evidence or mathematical proof supporting your position. It either survives on its on or it doesn't. Most don't.

Here is how religion works: You post a conjecture, then you slander anyone who asks for evidence or disagrees.

LOL.......thanks for proving my point. You seem to have a very skewed opinion of religion, and if anything I posted was construed as slander then something got lost in the translation. I merely pointed out your obvious negative positioning when it comes to religion. There doesn't seem to be any openmindedness involved. Your post about Strobels book contained much more of what could be viewed as slander than anything I posted. Did that happen by using the "scientific method", because you disagreed with him?

Why should I be "open minded" about a fairy tale with zero supporting evidence? Why are you not "open minded" about my belief in the Flying Spaghetti Monster?

I will say it for about the 10th time in this thread alone, please provide me with evidence of your irrational belief system, and you will get the first inklings of the respect you apparently so greatly desire.

It's all about faith my friend. And gaining yours or anybody elses respect is not what motivates me, I assure you. I could say the same thing about your even more unbelievable fairy tale, whether it's evolution, or spaghetti monster. Where's the proof for that. You're obviously comfortable believing in things that are without proof. If man evolved from lesser forms then show me some fossil proof! Why are there still monkeys if we evolved from them? Where are the "in-betweens" since there still are monkeys, we should be seeing all the stages that led up to what we are now?? Post a link.

I can't believe I am even getting lured into this conversation.

We are not evolved from "monkeys." We are evolved from a common ancestor with the "monkeys."

Convince me first that you understand that point thoroughly and I will continue.

Well I'm sorry to report that which cannot be a surprise to you. I thoroughly understand that point is without evidence! You are all about evidence except when it comes to your secular choice of belief. For me, Genesis has the true answer to that. At this point I can only put you on my prayer list, that the good Lord will reveal himself to you in a way that you cannot ignore. I don't know who tharan000 is, but He certainly does.

Excellent. If you are willing to be "open minded", I'll work through it with you.

First, let's agree on a definition. Please give your definition of "evidence."
