Jena Jamesian may be a hot porn star but no one could take her seriously as a religious leader.....

Some of the gnostic stuff but the Thomasine church had a nice little foothold in the more eastern regions of the ancient world. The Jamesian church was geared more to the Jewish community.

Maybe it had something to do with "truth."

Or maybe it had something to do with politics. Perhaps the Christians should answer. Honestly.

I've honestly always found it interesting that the "churches" founded by the actual disciples of Christ were superceeded by a man that never actually had any contact with Jesus. Yet his writitngs and those attirbuted to his follower Luke, are the basis for so much of what is now considered the Christian faith. Was it political and Paul won? That would explain quite a bit.

yes it was political. it was all about controlling the masses for the early Roman Catholic church. Most of us "honest" christians are aware of this. the other books in the new testament not penned by paul tend to buttress the basic tenants of the faith he described.

I doubt most Christians have any idea what you are talking about.
