If you dont hurt anyone but yourself that is not terrorism.

The book I read was a martial arts book by Bruce Lee called Tao of Jeet Kune Do. It was mostly about his martial arts philosphy but it also contained some of his thoughts on Buddhism and how it shaped his world view.

Even if setting oneself on fire is terrorism, a couple of monks doing that thirty years ago hardly compares to the horrors committed in the name of Islam since then.

 Bruce Lee is your Buddhist teacher  wow.

also yea it is terrorism. terrorism is, as builder said, using terror to sway opinions. and did I ever say it comparedto the horrors committed by such christians as Eric Rudolph, Timothy McVeigh, Paul Hill, Clay Waagner, James Kopp, and countless others? No I did not. but a horse by any other name...

I never said he was a Buddhist teacher but he was a buddhist and he did discuss it in his book.

I missed the part where the christian leaders called for assassination of somone who is critical of them. Ask Rushdi if he feels like Islam is a religion of peace.
