Why are lots of baseball fans whiney

I have noticed it more in baseball than any other sport. I am a fan dont get me wrong but whiney.
Example...A game a few weeks ago was rained out on saturday it was a 7 o'clock game. It was called at 6:30. The newspaper, the callers into the sportstalk stations around here and everyone is complaining. Their arguement is that is was unfair to bring everyone down to the park (disabled and elderly people included) when they knew hours before that the game could not be played in that weather. if the team could know it wasnt going to be played shouldnt the disabled and elderly been able to see the same thing.

Exhibit C: Spiderman base debacle.

Whenever i go to a teams website or check out their forum I see "horror stories" like someone one got a beer dropped on them by the beer man and they will NEVER go backk to a Mets game even if the tickets are free.

Why is that?

 

What pisses me off is last week when the Giants and O's were rained out for Fridays game Isaid sweet Play two on Saturday when I am there. Hell no. They cleared the stadium and let the next fans come in. I could have hid out in the bathrooms but that would make me feel like Dukey

 

quit yer whining PP. you expect to buy one get one free? you paid for one game, why should you be entitled to two? the ticketholders from friday night probably agree with me.

 

they rescheduled that game for a night game @ 7 and people whined because it was so inconvinient.

 

Today's society is filled with a bunch of 'me-first' people. these people are only worried about their wants and needs without considering how that may effect others. and today's media outlets allow for people to express their views much easier. it is not just in baseball, but everywhere.
