looks like the top two left are Echols and Craver. As Piper has pointed out, Craver's slide has been caused by a neck injury. Another Nebraska player with a bad neck, hmm? Tony Beckham of Wisconsin-Stout also looks intereesting after a good showing in the All Star games.

Got to get one of those 3. I'm leaning towards Echols. It may be the heart strings with the diabetis and all, but he's got good speed, good charachter, work ethic, all that. A little small, but it's the 4th round, ya know?

Craver's neck seems to have everybody scared off. i like Echols speed and coverage wise, but his height might scare us off as much as the diabetes. Beckham has some size and speed to go along with his cover skills, I like him a lot.

    Who had the best day?

    Here's some thoughts

    1. Oakland - Best day one. Buchanon will come on into a talented CB core that's showing age. Harris finally gives them a young playmaker at LB. Jolley rocks, he drove the passing game at BYU. He's much like Walls. And then Walker is a risky pick, but one with big upside. Has first round athletic ability, I wanted him. But even if he busts, I don't think the other 3 will.

    2. Jacksonville : Henderson, Pearson, and Ayodele. Three good players, productive players. No workout warriors here, just players ready to play.

    3. Colts : Started out iffy with a smallish DE Dwight Freeney. An undersized line gets smaller, but he's been very good rushing the passer. But round 2 and 3 I just love. Tripplett and Jefferson. Good players both. They are getting faster.

    4. Cardnials - When all is said and done, they could be the ones with 4 impact players. Bryant and Fisher were good value picks, Johnson could be a steal if someone motivates his ass, and McCown was highly regarded at the Senior Bowl as a developing project. Jake better get his act together.

    5. Dallas - A lot of risk here. Williams will be a playmaker, good pick at 8 with an extra player. That extra player was none other than Derek Ross. Could be a homerun, could be a head case, might be both, or neither. Same with A. Bryant. Big time ability, big time charachter concerns.

The Saints are the biggest enigma. Stallworth could be great, he could fumble his career away. Grant is all potential. Sounds like Allen is too. Bentley is ok I guess. Centers are an enigma to me, so hard to find a good one.
