I saw a review and they said it is intense and pretty violent for little kids.

Seven. Yeah, I wondered about the PG-13 rating....He's seen Jurassic Park III though (hid his eyes alot) and seemed to make out ok. I might wait for the hoopla to die down. They're saying the flick could pull in 100 million this weekend.

yeah my son is seven too. He loves the commercial but hasn't expressed a desire to go.

About two years ago he stood in line over an hour to ride the Spiderman 3D ride at Universal. He and my wife came out crying cause it was so loud and freaky. I of course missed it because I went to ride the Incredible Hulk coaster ( AWESOME!) while they stood in line and couldn't find them in the long ass line when I got back.

My son's been all over it. He asked me about a month ago when May 3 is, and could he skip school to see the flick.

I saw it at 5. It wasn't as good as it could have been. I give it a 3 of 5.

    tobey maguire as spiderman...

is hot! i give it 4 stars! (on a scale of 1-5 stars) recommend you see it.

hey surfer...i think you should see it...you were there surfer...go see and you will know what i mean... :D

anyhoo...i think the special effects were great...they did "bullet time" in this movie as well. you know, like they had in the matrix.

best scene (IMO): alley kissing scene after spiderman rescues mj from thugs. hella great take!

there was a guy who looks like james dean in this movie!

obtw, rated PG-13 is about right.
