The best player in high school, Lebron James or the best player in college basketball, Carmelo Anthony.

Anthony. Screw taking a high school kid. Hype or not.

There is another guy I really like as a "sleeper" pick if he comes out. The Sweetney kid from G'town. Supposedly he was told he'd be drafted around 10-15 if he came out now, but Top 5 next year. I'd take him in the Top 10 now.

I can't argue against taking Anthony but I would take LeBron James.

James by far... he's more polished and hasn't even hit college... he's got a bettergame more suited for the NBA... he can play any position on the court excpet Center... he's a better passer... has more range... and is stronger.

If this were the new Charlotte team I would vote for Anthony but for an estblished team (Cleveland) I would vote for LaBron. Having a solid PG would be a nice way to start building a program

But will that polish show against NBA talent? It's hard to remember he is still only playing against kids. To me Anthony looked pretty darn polished in the Tourney, I didn't get to see him play much before that though.

More Range?...Not the same LeBron I was watching on TV.

In this era of "win today, or gone tomorrow", I would want Carmello Anthony on my team over LeBron James.
