    I think it will be close between brown and iti, cant really decide. what do you all think?

    chisox, Iti is very inmature offensively. I think Lutz just wants him to alter shots and clean glass. I guess 6-8 pts a game.

    Withers should touch the ball every trip down the floor on O. He should score in double figures every game. If he isn't getting his touches and Demon and Plav are jacking up 3's, be very very concerned.

    I would also like to see the team run some isolation plays for Mitch and Vince G. I think that both of these guys can break down their man and get to the hole. Remember, you don't have to be extremely tall or have a killer jumpshot to score in college b-ball. Athleticism sometimes reigns supreme.

    Barry sounds like a man who listened to me rant after every loss last year. Withers should touch the ball EVERY time down the floor this year. If Demon is leading us in scoring then we are taking too many threes and it will be a long season.

    I am a bit afraid that, as we are looking at this upcoming season as a clean slate after last season, Demon is looking at it as another chance to break the NCAA 3 point record.

    I think them two jacking threes will still get us to 18 wins, just because Iti has got to be better at cleaning the glass than Tory, same with Spooner. It took Lutz til mid January to accept the fact that it's alright for a freshman to get major minutes (Withers). I remember after the loss at Cincy some Bearcat posters saying thank God Withers only got the ball as much as he did.

    But I'm with you guys, I hope Withers isn't wasted here because he's not a three point marksman. If he were to leave the program because he feels he should be more than a screen setter for threes, I wouldn't blame him.

    Plavich & Withers will be the leading scorers. M9H, Withers will be much more than just a screensetter over the next few years. Was Rodney White relegated to a role of only being a screensetter? Withers will not be either.
