Seems like I remember several over here.

Coach Nick left us with a potential mess. Good thing Lutz & company took care of business. This one could have gone the wrong way and the athletic dept would have been lambasted. Instead, all is good in 49er land.

I don't recall doubters here or cusaland, just fear.

I didn't doubt he would come, I was scared and worried. Big difference between worrying and doubting. There were internal fears if he was coming or not, and that got out. Despite what spin it was given. I don't understand your Nick comment. How did Nick leave us a mess and it got cleaned up? I think D Hill is a good hire though. I fail to understand your athletic dept remarks. Lutz made a nice hire as of right now. Lets see how he recruits. I will take less of a recruiter and a better person like Hill, than a good recruiter in Nick and what he did NOT bring to the team.

I just want a good replacement Xs and Os coach when/if Moxley should leave.

now I know why I couldn't find him in Target when I was there at lunch today..........he's on campus :)

If I'm one of the "Iti doubters", then oh well. Last time I checked, we didn't sell tickets for a prized (or highly touted) recruiting class.

Of course, recruiting is part of the puzzle to get to the desired end result (WINNING).

I have NO DOUBT that the ole' ball coach (Lutz) shares the same desired end result.

We've got a better team than last year.......on paper. Until it is "showtime" , I just can't get excited over the anticipated recruits showing up on time.

Dont come over her with that BS Lefty. You were nervous also. I know who you talk to and I know that there was some uncertainty earlier this spring/summer. I never doubted he would be here, I just heard from a solid source that there was some nervous folks in the department a couple months ago. It doesnt matter now, does it? So why instigate.

Well, Grier being gone might be a blessing in disguise - he did seem to sulk a lot, despite the amazing talent he had.

Butter coming back - yeah, that news definitely ruined my damn summer.

OK, we were all nerves, but I always dismissed it as heresay, which is why I didn't comment on it before. I'm glad I didn't. Because it was all heresay.... I hope.
