There are differences between the two, they're separate entities. I can spin it any way I feel like, but that doesn't change that they're separate. It's called I-AA because II was taken. 1 1/2 wasn't classy enough, but for all it matters, 1.5 is close enough.

*Division I-AA is an entity made up of lesser programs.
*these words aren't all that hard to comprehend. When people think "Division I", unless they specified "I-AA", people know you're not talking about "I-AA". Now go get mad about it some more and see where it leaves you.

You're certainly right, if the semantic point of whether or not "one" in its various symbolic points are in I-AA.
Is it governed under division one? does it share anything in football with Division one as far as administration that II and III don't? They're obviously separate. The program in question is neither DI nor DII. It's I-AA and that's both obvious, and something that was at question, not as to whether or not that was in fact the numeral One in that division's name. I think we were all able to grasp that specific point, and in that manner you are semantically correct on something we'd all grasped and was never in question. Thank you for your help in recognizing numerals, and if the government ever asks someone to suggest a person for such a task I'll make sure I send them up the mountain with as many fingers as will be necessary to see if you're up to the job
