WHO likes what ACC teams

You get my point. I can say coming in DEAD last, and right after SATAN and his own version of the DEVILS, comes DUKE! That's right! I would pull for SATAN and his demonic playmates over DOOK!

 

What's wrong with that?

If you took my blood it would be royal blue--when Duke loses, I lose; when they win championships, I win championships. I probably know more about the history related to Coach K's era than Mickie K does.

I like to pull for all ACC teams outside the conference, except for UNC of course. Not too much against the school itself, just a little, but yeah their fans, players, and coaches are the some of the worst human beings put on this earth.

If I had to rank them I guess it would go like this:

1.Duke
2.State
3.UVa
4.Md/Wake
6.GT, FSU, Clemson
9.UNC

..and the one team I would pull against EVEN if they were playing Carowhina is...(drumroll please)..............Kentucky! Their fans are even worse than UNCC fans.

 

no way in a Cold Hell are KU fans worse than UNCC fans. I have never seen a group whine as much as those guys do. Go to ANY message board and compare.

10) The team that I hate the most........ Georgetown

 

I don't know much about Kansas, I was talking about Kentucky.

 

I grew up on ACC basketball and have been a Duke fan since the late 70's (pre Coach K days). Here's the list:

1. Duke - Simply the best
2. NC State - Spent a lot of time there in the mid 80's playing ball
3. Wake Forest - Geographically, the closet team to me. I've seen more of there games than any other team.
4. UVA - Since the Jeff Lamp days
5. Maryland - I still miss Lefty
6. Ga Tech
7. Clemson
8. FSU
9. Tarholes - The hatred runs deep, baby!
10. A toss up between Georgetown, UNLV, and UNC.

I'm not unhappy about Carolina's situation, but I 'm not going to bash them. We've been there. But if somebody's gotta lose the play-in game, it might as well be them.

I usually want to pull for Duke on the national scene, but it's getting harder given Coach K's mouth and what he let's his players get away with.

 

MathMajor, specifically what does K let his players get away with? Beating the trash out of other teams?

 

Stepping on opposing players, taunting opponents' benches, etc.

 

Whew...I was worried that one of my boys punched someone on another team. Now I know that would have got your dander up...
