    me

we each have our things that we do that we're good at. its what makes this thing work.

the first requirement for being a good cook is loving to eat.

What are these FAKE spuds you're talking about?

Im all about the potatoe, i drive my GF crazy. I could eat spuds every day, fry em, roast em, bake em, boil em, i feel like the Bubba Gump shrimp guy sometimes. She does the same to me with Rice tho, and the one thing i always have rice with, chile, she likes crackers instead. I guess its all about what you were raised eating in truth.

One ingredient i add is mayonaise (instead of sour cream) to mashed potatoes. My GF goes loopy if she ever sees me put it in but she always remarks how good they taste when i do, unbeknownest to her.

We both cook. He likes to and he's a good cook but he sticks to the recipe most of the time. He's better at finding new recipes to try than I am because he's more adventurous that way. I can get in the kitchen and take what's there and make something out of it without a recipe though and 99% of the time it comes out very good. I hardly ever use a recipe unless I'm looking for something particular that I have tried somewhere else. Then I still usually add something to it.:pepper:

I cook, but somehow, I end up having to clean too. Now wait a minute.....

I enjoy doing the cooking. Wife doesn't eat red meat, so it's a bit of a challenge doing chicken for the umpteenth time, but that's part of the fun. As Larry mentioned, it's about trying things. Worse case scenario is you're ordering pizza!
