    Yeah, my dad calls it blood pudding too. White can be called mealy pudding too. The black one is a bit rough but its not a bad as it sounds. The white pudding is pretty damn good and much more universaly liked. Its pretty much just like sausage.

    The amount of oil/butter has nothing to do with it. You're getting confused with Pan or Deep frying.

    You dont saute eggs. You crack the egg and let nature do its course. You fip them over if you like them over easy, but that's not sauteing.

    you can also put a lid over it and steam it...in the pan, cook it in it's shell in boiling water (soft boiled), poach it, nuke it...etc etc. to each his/her own, i guess.

    Well, yeah, there are obviously different way to cook an egg. But i was trying to clarify the frying egg bit. If you were to "saute" it you'd end up with tiny little bits of scrambled egg, im sure someone would find it edible but it probably wouldnt taste the may west.

    Nope. Not Midwestern- Norwegian. Grandma calls it Lutefisk. I call it fish jello. Either way, it's gross.
