I have no clue who I'd pick.

But if y'all would like to offer some suggestions so we can argue about it, please feel free.

    Leading Candidates, IMO

    1. Herman Edwards - With that secondary, and their losses, and that bad start, the Jets are looking good now.

    2. Tony Dungy - It may be a bunch of smoke and mirrors, but now and then the Colts D looks decent, and that's got them to 7 and 4 and a good shot at running the table and getting Home Field Advantage against an easy schedule.

I am shocked that the Jets have shown new life. Pennington. Always liked that kid.

On a team expected to win its division? Gruden?

Yeah, that's why I crossed off Gruden too. That and the fact that the offense has not improved any.

Edwards was good Piper. Didn't even think about him. I'm serious when I said I had no clue. I mean, I could offer up a shitload of candidates but I couldn't pull the trigger on any of them.

I could see Reeves. Press seems to dislike him though.

I'd like Dan Reeves to get it. He always gets counted out and then he's right back in there with his team playing ball.

Losing Fieldler hurt Wandstat's chances, but last week was pretty big in terms of finding what works and executing.

Atlanta - Miami might make a pretty fun Super Bowl as well.
