I'm not even worried about that unless it becomes a problem, and to me that's no worse than any other player. Going in gunshy with Foster's fumbles isn't the way to go IMO, but it does deserve some caution.

Quick question about Foster. He was tagged as a fumbler in college. Does anyone feel like it was founded? I have read I think that he had one disasterous game against someone on television where he pulled a Biakabutuka and put the ball on the ground like 3 times and he was labeled then. Over all did he drop the pill that many times or has is snow balled up from that one game?

I absolutely agree with that 100%. I noticed the other day that Foster is right at the same size as Corey Dillion. We are talking about a big guy here with speed that can catch. He is actually a little bit bigger than Edge but maybe not quite as topspeedy (<--thats not a word I know). Lamar will help this season but probably won't be around next yr.

Foster still must prove he isn't going to fumble but beyond that this guy looks like a Pro Bowl caliber RB.

And yes PantherPaul, Foster fumbled A LOT. He didn't lose them all but he fumbled quite a bit. He also fumbled in situation where the last thing he needed to do was fumble. In his defense a lot of those fumbles came as a result of hits from behind when he was fighting for extra yardage. He did tend to carry the ball away from his body a bit too much though.

Foster the 81st RB?! hardly a ringing endorsement. I would put him a little higher

Not the 81st RB, the 81st pick OVERALL. He averages out as the 33rd RB selected. Yes there are only 32 teams so it is not wonderful but I image people are waiting till late to take the risk of an unknown 2nd rookie with a history of fumbles. If he is there in the late rounds, I'd probably try to pick him up for my bench but that is all. He'd be an excellent 8-9th round steal.

He'll be gone in the first 3 rounds - he'll be slated the starter by the draft day.

I'm sure it doesn't help his cause that he plays for us.

I guess they're expecting he'll split some carries with Smith, at least early on. And that alone will bring his value down a bit.

Oh, there is no way I'd wait that long to pick him up in a league dominated by Panther fans. However, I usually play 1-2 additional leagues outside panther message boards and I'll likely wait in those leagues. It's a risk, I know.

BTW, I didn't get an invite from THIS board this year. I guess the  sMacDaddies:cool: were to much to handle over at charlotte.com. :D
