I don't know what he will do next week. I doubt he gets many if any snaps in the regular season, but this Fasani guy is a player! Scrambling and passing on the run. Mark Fields looked great in the first half. Brighten (sp) looked great even though the TD catch was a busted play. And that new runningback Foster? (;) O looked ok. I hope Lamar Smith is renting cause Foster looked great

If Fasani does not get more snaps in the regular season 1 of 2 things will have to happen.

    1. His remaining 3 pre season game will totally suck.
    2. Weinke will be above .500 at 8 games.

We don't owe Weinke anything. I've already heard how Weinke deserves Foster at starter, ok thats fine, but after tonights showing, Fasani deserves Foster and the rest of the first string offense, yea, lets compare apples to apples, I'm all for it.

Edit, but to fully answer your question... Bright helped himself, Watkins helped himself to a free plane ticket, to get the hell out of town.:D Oh and who was that Dline guy that ran around and stopped the skins when they were on the 2 yard line, he might have a spot too.

Al Wallace was getting consistant pressure and Goings had a couple of moments too . . . Oh, and Fasani and Foster weren't half bad.)

Missed the game, but just saw the Foster TD run on replay. Damn. He's a truck.

Foster definately moved the gap down to nothing on Smith.
Bright probably moved himself to second string receiver.
Dee Brown did decent with his limited look, as did Goings.
Fields probably bought himself some time in the defense, being schemed to make plays, as he showed a lot of speed.
Fasani showed he can throw the ball, Weinke was improved over last year and moved the ball when he didn't have to go long distances to get first downs.

On the downside, I think that Steve Smith didn't back his hype up very well. Navies isn't doing much with his starting time. Unless he went out with injury, which I didn't see him noted post-game, TJ Washington looks like he got yanked at backup RT for Jay Humphrey, who wasn't impressive either.

yep sadly I think this is where all the controversy and 'bash this guy because this guy is who I like' bullshit will happen. Whatever.
I'm glad Fasani had a good night and I'm glad Weinke had a good night. Nothing but good comes from this as long as we continue on as we plan and work toward getting common goals as a team.

Hey no one was seriously injured thats a serious plus considerring our history. Look at Seattle and Cleveland! Our supposide improved defensive line didn't do much as far as I was concerned. No pressure on Skin QB,where was Julius Peppers? Stood him up repeatidly. Only really was a factor on 1-2 plays IMO.

Rucker looked good. He also did very well stunting on one play. Peppers held contain well and seemed to get a lot of attention. it's obvious the Skins prepared for our front.

I remember seeing Foster in one of BigCat's pics. He just so looks the part. He's nasty. He's smooth. He's just a badass. Nice block by Goings there...he looked good at FB. I would say that he's made the team and they'll find a role for him.
