I just wanted to call my team now in case they win the world series and ya'll call me a bandwagoner. It's not likely we'll win it, but if the infield gels I think we have a chance. At least our pitching sucks less this year. On paper, anyway.

I agree with QCH--don';t think our pitching is a bad as last year, but we need consistent bats to make a run at the division. I lift an Old Style to the Sox...may their feet be swift, may their bats be mighty and may their balls be plentiful....

did I just say that out loud?

lmao...Well, me, myself and I have never really pulled for a home team anyway, JUST because they are closest to home. I pull for teams that, for some reason or another strike a cord with me.
My teams are Oakland Raiders, LA Dodgers, UNC Tarheels. I've always liked Penn St. in College football also. I have also pulled for the Panthers since their birth. My oldest brother did Graduate from Carolina, but I was pulling for them before he went there.
