    Clippers.

    Bengals.

    Both have owners who are too involved, too cheap, and too stupid to allow the franchise to have a chance. Not the case with JR, who has handed things off to Hurney.

    Things can get better here, and they aren't that bad. I don't see the Clippers or Bengals winning ever under current ownership.

    Cincinnati Bengals.
    This isn't wishful thinking. We've got our problems, as do they, but their problem is that no matter who they have on the field or as HC, they're screwed because the ownership is not willing to take the steps needed to win. The Richardsons are, but they're still learning painful lessons. I still believe we're on the right track.

    All joking aside, I really think Dallas is in the worst shape. They have the worst owner (well maybe Snyder), who only hires coaches that will be his whipping boy.

    Aside from that, they are worse than us at evaluating new talent the last few years...

    Dallas Sucks, Cincy, well their just Cincy.

    Not really true about the evaluating talent bit.

    Evaluating Quincy Carter, true.

    Roy Williams was a good pick. Antonio Bryant is a good pick who puts up numbers. Nygen and Steele are good picks. Galloway wasn't worth the picks they gave up, but he's talented.

    They've got a solid defense. They just have a hurt offensive line and a young, unstable QB position. They are a lot like us. Except our QBs are old.

    Hurney's the GM, but it does still feel like JR has his hands in the pie as well, philosophically. Time will tell but it's his team and it takes a very strong man to say no to the owner. In this case you have three guys with equal power in personnel, and that all three would be able to come together to shut JR out the next time he wants to change philosophy? We'll see.

    Atleast Cincy has 1 player in Corey Dillon that can impact a game or make teams prepare to play against him.

    i was thinking more in terms of how cursed the panthers seem to be:

    * the mind-numbing close losses

    * the failed draft picks

    * the injury/drug problems

    * the off-field problems

    and, yes, the offensive talent is horrid, too.
