You're right the 5 BluRay is Sony. The controller is only Circuit City. Walmart has an offer to get a DVD Style remote. But that's only $20 in store. I'd rather have the Extra controller that goes for $50, and buy the $20 remote.

Plus Wal-Mart sucks balls. I'm planning on getting a PS3 at some point, but until I get an HDTV there's really not much point to it.

Is that a DLP? I recommend the wii. The graphics don't even compare to the 360 or ps3.

I beleave the ps3 is 1080p, The only way you are going to get 1080 out of an xbox360 is if you have the 360 elite. It has a hdmi port. If you go though the regular 360 component cables you are only getting 720.

The real reason to own a console is for the games. Check out this list for some of the upcoming games for all the systems: http://www.gamespy.com/articles/806/806191p1.html

My own preference is the Xbox 360, I have a 55" 1080P and even running at 720P it looks great. If you are concerned about HD videos and having a HD player get a stand alone unit or wait until the HDDVD/Blu-Ray thing pans out and then get the one that is left standing or prevailing. If your game machine goes down so does your Blu-Ray device with the PS3. Xbox Live is a good reason to get the 360 as well, it is pretty fun being able to log in and play against other people any old time you want.

you can get 1080i from a regular xbox 360, but yeah you need the elite for 1080p.

fuck the xbox 360. Not only did 2 consoles go bad on me, but my 2nd console I got not even two weeks ago broke two games. That's $120 wasted by this piece of shit.

Did the system put a nice ring around the bottom of the discs?

Mine's done that before, and I want a part of that class action lawsuit. I'm not out to get big money. I simply want the DVD drive replaced with a better unit.
