Someone tell me why Spoons on South Blvd has the rep they have for such great BBQ. I find it average at best. And the portions are way too damn small for the price.

Well, I obviously don't understand it, but someone out there thinks it's something special.

    Best in Charlotte
2nd Best in Charlotte (Granted this is obviously a joke since Sonny's is #1)
Best and 3rd best in these two lists

Apparently quite a few of the people I work with think so too. When someone mentions BBQ for lunch, Bill Spoon's always seems to be the first suggestion. And on the couple times I didn't talk them out of it, the damn place was packed and we had to share a table with people we didn't know. :wtf23:

I use to like Hamilton`s Hog Heaven, but I think they closed down.

    Hendrix - Rowan County
    Lancaster's - Iredell County
    Elliott's - Mecklenburg County

Of the three, I like Elliott's the best.

One store, family owned, located in Matthews. You will not be dissappointed.

I think Bubba's is pretty good. They also serve some superior Sweet Tea. R&R in Harrisburg, Concord, and K-Town are also good.
