Given time, I think Faulk could break the top 5 easily. I'd like to see where he stands in total yards in relation to other backs.

Barry Sanders is like Marino. You have a lot of differing opinions about their placement. I personally just can't put Sanders anywhere near Sweetness, Brown, Dickerson, or Emmit. Sometimes you need a yard, and Barry either coulnd't, wouldn't, or wasn't allowed to get it. And a lot of times you don't need the negative yards. Like ever.

Agreed. When all is said and done, he could very well be contending with Payton and Rice for the total yards record.

If he breaks Emmitt's record you have to put him in the top 3. But there is no way in hell anyone will break that record anytime soon. BTW, what are your top 5 backs. I'll list mine in order of, NOT the best, but the ones I most like to watch. And I'm not as old as some of yous guys so don't get mad when Jim Brown doesn't make the list:

    1. John Riggans
    2. Payton
    3. Bo Jackson
    4. Emmitt
    5. Christian Okoye

Faulk is one of the all-time greats. He's a future HOF. He has dominated since he came in the league, even when he was a rookie in the Pro Bowl he dominated. He can take over anytime. He's got speed, power, vision, blocking, great hands, and he hardly ever fumbles the ball. He can throw, run routes, punt return, kick return. I bet he could be a top ten coner guy too if he wanted too. A great "team" guy. Not a back in the league I'd rather have right now. He can do it all. His picture needs to be next to "football player" in the dictionary. JMO.
