Shav's my boy. I love his game when he's healthy. He's gonna be a beast this year. He wasn't just solid against UConn, but the whole tournament he was solid.

I'll never forget in the second game of the tourney where he dunked over two players. Yeah they were probably scrubs, but Shav finally felt like he 'belonged.' I've got very high hopes for him this year, and damn we're gonna need him.

Hope he can step up like I think he's capable of doing.

are you talking about Sean May that led the Under 20 national team in scoring and rebounding this summer?

Sean May that was first in rebounding, seventh in scoring and SIXTH in Field goal % in the ACC last season?

Yeah he is, he knows he's not the next Kareem. Klang played hard but never had half the talent of Shav. I don't know why Tarholes give Klang such a hard time, at least he didn't quit on the team like Curry/Peppers did.

And if Shav wants to tell a girl he "really likes" her this year, that's his business :)

Maybe he can write her a poem. Shouldn't stop him from kicking ass on the court.

Yeah - how in the hell could Peppers blow the team off just so he could go play NFL football for some nobody team in Charlotte.

    Damn buy a clue dude.

Damn, thought I saw him sitting in the stands with Ronald during basketball season. Buy a clue bitch. Your basketball IQ leaves a fucking ton to be desired.

That was a minor point in my argument, yet you jumped all over it like I knew you would. Gee, I never knew Peppers was a high draft pick for an NFL team in Charlotte, I had no fucking idea.

My point is, as was widely rumored, that Curry (UNDRAFTED?) and Peppers sat out the basketball season because of the coaching situation. Yet Kris Lang gets shit on by Tarhole fans. God forbid a guy actually try and play up to his ability. Not that Lang had any NFL aspirations, but the rumors at the time had LESS to do with the NFL and a lot more to do with the coach. Support who you want, I'm just reminding you of the hypocracy of the program and the fans. Kris Lang gets shit on by UNC fans too much.

As for that last comment about Shav, I'm excited to bump this thread in March. Don't edit your comments, I've got them on notepad just in case.

edit--oh, it was brain who wrote that trash, nevermind, no one takes you seriously anyway, my bad

    Oh, and a point.

Well, we all know Duke had it's down point too. I don't see a lot of Duke fans talking shit about Greg Newton or Jeff Capel though. Hell, at that point, Duke would have been lucky to have a 6'10 PF starter who averaged double figures like Kris Lang. I know he wasn't All American material, but I still think he catches way too much shit from UNC fans, especially since he was a hell of a lot better than Jeff's brother. My point is, your team had two guys who sat out their eligibility to protest against the coach (well, at least one player if you want to give Pep the benefit of the doubt). Why pick on a guy who at least gave you a chance to win 8 games rather than just 4?

"Look guys, Jordan's not coming through that door, Worthy's not coming through that door." [/end Pitino]

Maybe I have a soft spot for tall white guys, but damnit, someone's gotta stick up for them. Shav's got way more tools than Lang ever dreamed of, but as of yet, he's not had a better career than Lang. If he doesn't step it up significantly, he won't have a better career than Lang. Lang takes too much shit from UNC fans. Direct it towards the no talent fellow four year starter Jason Capel. Or be fucking oblivious. I really don't give a shit about you UNC fans or your program. Keep dogging legit four year starters, I'm sure that will make them want to come to your program even more.
