what's the worst fantasy trade someone has offered you?

    I get pretty stupid offers. just today i check and someone proposed this..

    J. Phillips (NYM - C,1B)
    D. Lowe (Bos - SP)

    V. Wells (Tor - CF)

    Why would I give up wells for two scubs that aren't even good??

    i'd hardly say that derek lowe is a scrub. now that he is boston's #3 pitcher, you gotta like his matchups even better. wells certainly had a terrific year last year and has the making of a top 20 roto player. and given piazza's history of missing time, phillips is a decent pickup in most roto formats. with that, i wouldn't take the deal if i had wells. lowe and torii hunter, something like that would be a decent deal.

    he offered it because I have piazza. he dangled the fact that piazza "might' get hurt again and mentioned lowe's numbers. I had the guy last year so I know he doesn't suck really, his number just aren't all that great. Now, I'm aware that my pitching sucks, hell half my team does. I missed the draft and this is what I got. I need to work on it, but i also don't panic because the season is long.

    dude, you're loaded on outfielders. take the deal. lowe is coming back strong this year. wells will drop off from last year. unless your name is pujols, you can't have that year 2 times in a row. phillips will get tons of time between C and 1st. sanders will do very nicely this year for the cards.

    if it were me, its a done deal.

    you would never play phillips. in fact, i bet you would drop him. you got to drop someone right? so it becomes wells for lowe. umm, no. lowe is good enough, but you need to parlay your offense abundance into a bullpen. i assume one of the categories is saves? if so, you ain't got shit. 1, you're punting saves. or 2, saves a are a big deal, like in a points league.

    what's the league setup?
