Whats so hot about Eminem?

What makes Eminem any better than any other rapper? He is just a controversal white guy who is the flavor of the day. I can listen to some rap music but maybe I am just to old to listen to this guy?

 

might be his attitude you don't like. I know a lot of people, that's what they dig about him.

He's not the best rapper. Far from. He's got decent music behind him, but he's not my style guy. Still, his words are interesting and I'll give his more commercial tracks a hot listen or two.

i like one he did with dido, but that's it. dont even remember the song. was decent, tho.

his personality might be the turn off. he is too tragic for my taste. just cant relate. maybe if i listen to him more, he might grow on me....

I don't know why anyone likes his style of music. It blows!!! It's a lot of cut downs put into a rap. It sucks!

Listen to THE ROOTS, TRibe, De la, or in the past couple years, MOS DEF. All these are my fav rap performers to date. They have better lyrics than M&M's.

as i said before it is just the beat of the song that i like, i think his lyrics show what an ass he really is.

 

I despise him....and I don't even like rap... but I just can't get that song out of my head!

 

What's hot about Shady?


He's a white boy who can actually rap (unlike Vanilla Ice). He can flow with the best of them in the game today. And when you have a beat maker like Dr. Dre producing you you're an automatic superstar.

 

He's got a "fuck the world" attitude. And sadly enough, there are lots of people out there that think like that. Not saying they're the majority, but there are some that really relate/feel what he's saying.

I don't, but I'll admit I have his new album. And to be honest with you, I think some of the things he says is down right hilarious.
