    The Road by Cormac McCarthy.

One of the best books I've ever read. The movie is coming out later this year staring Viggo Mortensen.

Ugh. I still don't get this book. I read it a few years ago, and thought it was the most boring piece of crap ever. Yet lots of people love it. Oh well, Viggo is great, so maybe he can save the movie. Depends on who the kid is.

James Rollins. Pretty much all of them. I guess Cussler wasn't repetitive enough for me. I need another guy doing it, with some Dan Brown thrown in for good measure.

Is it possible to get dumber from reading?

    "The Chamber," by John Grisham.

I've read it before but it's been some time and I'm out of books I haven't already read, so..........

I believe I have read all of John Grisham's books, including the non-lawyer ones such as "The Painted House," "Skipping Christmas," and "Bleachers."

I've also read his only non-fiction book, "The Innocent Man."

I do like Grisham and the only book of his I didn't care for was "Bleachers."
