That was a great book. It's a miracle we won that war.

NIGHT PASSAGE by Robert B. Parker.
My first read by Parker, is proving to be a good choice.[I've found it hard to go wrong with a NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER, unless it's a female author(not that there's anything wrong with female authors. Their perspective doesn't usually interest me.]

I got a ton of new books for Christmas, and it's making me crazy I can't find the time to read these days. I'm still only on chapter 3 of The Shack, for crying out loud.

Reading God in the Dock by CS Lewis currently.

Have plans to read The Way to Wealth by Benjamin Franklin which will be a less than hour read but will be interesting to see how cultural ideas about money may have changed. Also, I want to read Save me from myself which is the autobiography from Brian Welch who was a member of Korn (known as Head in the group) who converted to Christianity.

Parker's novels are great popcorn reads. The Spenser series is one of my favorites of any genre. The man may never win a Nobel for Literature, but he can put more into two short and succinct sentences than most novelists can put into a page.

Just got another Robert B. Parker novel, BACK STORY, can hardly wait to get into it. I thoroughly enjoyed NIGHT PASSAGE!
