Cool. I have 3 of those on the shelf to read. I wasn't sure about them but I am going to definitely read them pretty soon now. I also have 3 of the Greg Keyes, The Kingdoms of Thorn and Bone series waiting to be read as well. Not sure which series I will start first, any suggestions?

Just started The Vampire of New York by Lee Hunt, after that I plan on reading Jack McDevitt's Ancient Shores. Soon as I finish I am starting one of the aforementioned series.

Also, The Dresden Files are a lot of fun to read.

Never read Butcher but the series sounds good. I'll probably pick one up soon. Sly has never steered me wrong. He turned me on to both Martin and Keyes - two excellent series.

I recently finished the fourth and last book in the Keyes series - The Born Queen. It didn't have great reviews but I liked it. If you haven't read any of that Keyes series yet I would go with that.

    Sounds good.

That will be the next series I start after I read those two stand-alone books.

Very good. An intelligent and truly successful way to fight terrorism.
