    Hmm, books eh?

First I'd like to respond to others' selections:

math - I've read the AN Wilson book, it's pretty good, interesting methodology
flyer - I've also read Slander, it's not good. All attack, no substance
meatpile - Holy Blood, Holy Grail is great, good religious conspiracy theory... try The Messianic Legacy afterward if you're into it. Not as good, but still interesting
Sly - Elric!! Awesome.. that's a great series of books... as well as the other Eternal Champion stuff. Brings back memories

I've been into classics lately, I read through the Greek classics, Iliad, Odyssey, Aeneid, etc... then went into Don Quixote then the Arabian Nights, took a break for some Stephen King, decided it sucked and went back to reality with Reefer Madness, by the guy who wrote Fast-Food Nation, then some Hunter S Thompson 'cause he's a wacko but fun, finally I just finished A Private Matter by Kenzaburo Oe and am now reading One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

That's it... next up - The Adventures of Auggie March by Samuel Bellows. After that I've been meaning to go back and re-read The Lord of the Rings, but I'm waiting to see all three movies first.

I read "Lord of the Flies" and that book really let me down. I'm in the middle of the semester, I have to read "Raising Cain", the book about how we condition boys not to cry or some horseshit.

I'm into page 76 of HIDEAWAY by Dean Koontz. I don't think that I'll finish it, it's too goulish.
