    Check out the Hardy Boys, they are pretty good.

    Nope, will check them out this weekend in the bookstore to see if they are what I am looking for.

    Just looking for a series type.

    So you don't have to worry about reading them in order?

    Which of the two do you like better?

    I have seen several of the "Prey" series out.

    I'd read them in order because that kind of thing makes me happy. :)

    The stories don't continue from book to book, but the characters grow and junk.

    I like Spenser because it's funny, especially after he and Hawk start working together.

    I like the Prey series because Lucas Davenport is a baaaad man.

    Lots more Spenser books than Prey. And Parker has 2 other series of books focusing on characters separate from Spenser. Tom Selleck has been in 2 movies about Jesse Stone, the second of which aired this past Sunday.

    Cool Math, thanks for the info. I will check both out and try to read them in the order written. Going to check out their sites I guess and find out the order.
