A Salty Piece of Land, by Jimmy Buffet

Not what I expected and a little difficult for me to get into.

Yeah - it's a great series. I forgot how much I enjoyed reading it going through it again - I'm in the middle of book two now - It's easy to forget that Tyrion is supposed to be one of the "bad guys."

Somehow the books are going to come down to Tyrion and Jon Snow as the last men standing. I can't wait to see how Martin winds it down.

I've been of this opinion for a while. It's the whole dark horse/anti-hero thing, which somehow manages to mimic real life.

Should be a great ending whatever happens.

I just started reading a book AK recommended to me (Fierce Invalids Home from Hot Places or something like that) but I'm not sure I am going to be able to finish it. There is a character that keeps going "Heh." and everytime I read it I think of Dollface. It's a lot like how I can no longer refer to the Carolina Hurricanes as the 'Canes' because of Canesin4. Thanks Dollface you bitch.

    Dean Koontz...Velocity

I need to fit "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown between "A Salty Piece of Land" and "Velocity"

I recently tried to read 'A Tale of Two Cities'. I had never read it and thought I should. I can't get into it. Dickens writting structure is horrid. You can tell he got paid by the word. I don't understand why this man is upheld as one of the all time great authors. I know some people that think he is will probably bash me, but I just can't follow him.
