well I am kind of like that - I don't like to start a second book while I have one going - but sometimes I have put books down half way through them and started another one - some I have gone back and read again but usually I never pick them back up.

Reading for me goes through phases - will read several books in a month then will take two months to get the next one read.

That teeth whitening thread reminded me, Anyone ever read "White Teeth" by Zadie Smith? That's the best book I've read in a few years. I read her 2nd book, "Autograph Man", but it wasnt nearly as good

I'm almost done with "Mr Murder" by Dean Koontz. It's not bad, but it's not horror/thriller/sci-fi like a lot of his books. It didn't start getting good until about 60-80 pages in. Now it's moving like a bullet. =)

After that I'm going to read "The Redneck Manifesto" by Jim Goad. http://www.jimgoad.com/ He's hilarious!

Dont believe the hype. His plan to read the classics was put on the backburner when he got his prescription to MAD magazine. The sad thing is, it's entirely true

Yea I know the rest of the world read it a last year or before that but I got it as a gift and started reading it. I'm not huge reader so it takes a good book to get me interested. I know it's a novel but all the examples his gives in the paintings, etc and very interesting. I found myself pulling up the pics on the internet as I was reading and some of his observations are cool.
