I read that, after I'd seen the film. The film was fantastic; but the book was better.

It was very factual, but had a tremendous emotional impact for all that.

Can you imagine possessing that incredible intellect, & yet losing DECADES of your life to mental illness?

I still cry just thinking about it.

Recently finished: 8.4 by Peter Hernon, about the New Madrid Seismic Zone and quakes happening there. VERY INTERESTING read...especially since I grew up in Louisville and we felt tremmors all the freaking time...that area is loooong overdue for a quake and that's a well known fact. Great read! :xyzthumbs

Currently reading: The Seventh Scroll by Wilbur Smith. Pretty cool, thus far.

Just finished "The Satanic Bible" (quite boring really) and I'm about 6 chapters into Agatha Christie's "Crooked House". Was my grandpa's recommendation. =)

If it's a tough read, start out with "Beowulf" first. That one isn't bad at all. =)

    Sphere - Michael Crichton

Just a paper back I dug off the free shelf at the library - for some reason lately I can't get into reading - I hope I finish this one - the last three books I started I never finished.
