    News
Brian Griese is done for the day after injuring his left knee late in the third quarter. There is not word on what the injury is or what Griese's status will be for next week. Steve Beuerlein has entered the game.

I'll take 2/2 for 15 yds and 2 TD's over the shit I've been watching today and the last 8 weeks prior.

agreed T, him and this offense would be better than Peete and this O. But it wasn't to be and at his price he'll never get cut.

On the contrary . . . Sandy stalks B-line out of the sheer frustration of not being able to feel his love.:mushy:
The CSI team would probably find Sandy’s DNA all over the bushes surrounding SB’s windows.:handjob:

No actually laughter... cause I know what he is capable of... the average fan thinks he is a winner... me, I understand him for the career loser that he is, which is based on fact.

Yes he is crisp and he can be accurate, but we would have the same results this year with him, as is indicated by his career record and his ability to choke at the end of the game, which is again based on fact....

Would I take him as fill in, sure. Thats what he does best... back up other QBs....

He made some bad decisions in 2000. We know that. He's also much better than we have here and he's much better than any of our quarterbacks. Chances are he'll always be better than the three on our roster based on his past as well. Considering four of those seasons were "his" and one was in a good situation I'd take him with this defense, even with bad coaching.

    GO B-LIINE

Give Sandy some more prozac. He is in much distress....AGAIN.

At least B-line would find Moose and Walls. Might even find Smith, long. Eat your heart out Panthers. This shows management really are stupid. Just think....we cut B-line so we could draft Weinke and Fasani. I hope he takes Denver to the Super Bowl !!!

Ah um... ok. I'm probably wrong about this too Cootster, but I don't think B-line's cutting had anything to do with "so we could draft Weinke and Fasani"

At the time the current coach felt he had "the next guy" in Lewis, boy how several of us called that one wrong. They also felt Bline had injuries that would not heal soon enough and they could not just hold on to him at the time.

I expect Bline to throw up some damn good numbers the next 3 weeks or so. The enteresting thing to watch will be his play over an entire game (4th qtr). And after he takes a sack or 2. He has always come into a game and lit it up, eventually the defense gets after him and its not always pretty.

If he takes them to the Superbowl... good for him. Just remember he took over a 7-3 team at the top of their conference. Last weeks game was won when he came in. (No pressure).
