I'd like to hear some recommendations for what you would do to improve the gameplay in the league. for me, i believe the players have the ability to play high-quality ball, but the teaching of the game has really faltered and the players are starting to show it.

set salaries for anyone entering the NBA with yearly raises and performance bonuses. Expulsion forever to any player that is arrested and convicted of any crimes.
No more palming the ball or traveling.
All kids under 16 get in free.
Cut off a finger for each cuss word spoken in front of children.

Legthen the shot clock. We've got far too little passing in the half court game. Get rid of the zone. Get these guys moving up and down the court.

Hope that everyone starts copycatting the Mavs and the Kings. Only two teams worth watching.

Cut of a finger of any fan hollering a curse word at a player. These players need more positive influences.

I echo a good bit of what Putt said, plus:
Improve the clarity of the rules - especially in the post.
Fighting or instigating one is an immediate suspension of a year (unless you're protecting yourself) - no salary.
Trash talking is immediately 3 game suspension.
    Shorter season.

I think Putt's idea of the kids under 16 getting in free is outstanding. Seriously, put them in the top bowl, and have the players sign autographs - for free.

College basketball is thriving despite the NCAA - I hate how the kids can't transfer when a program is sanctioned, but the coach doesn't have to miss a beat and can catch on with another school. NOT right.

    To tell you the truth,

I would like to see a good sound game of FUNDAMENTAL basketball. Good defense and good offensive sets. I'm tired of all this showboating

Chicago Bulls did that very well. No wonder they won 6 out of 8.

You might see that in 10 years because Europeans will start dominating the draft unless American high school and college coaches change their ways.
