    Just finished watching The Departed (in hd!)


    Good flick. Really good, not great.... great as in Goodfellas that is.

    I'm not willing to shell out for a player yet, but I'll probably watch it again on TW HD MoD when it comes up (may already be available).

    Not M.S.'s best flick, but better than most of what came out last year.

    Watching movies on planes for the first time have a habit of doing that. I dont know if its the small screens and you just cant get into them or what but be thankfull you didnt get The Long Walk Home with Whoppie Goldberg.

    Rockers, it's about a Rastafarian who buys a motorcycle to distribute records so he can feed his family, and then somebody steals the motorcycle. Rasta ain't gonna let this happen, so he hunts it down, finds out this dude has been stealin' everybody's stuff for quite a while, so he puts together a crew, implents a plan, and ends up robbin' the robber, then distributing the goods through the ghettos of Kingston! Man, what a great movie, a TRUE period piece about a foriegn culture, that is fascinating with it's filth and laziness. Thanks god for subtitles because "Horsemouth" Wallace, playing the lead character, is unable to pronounce any words that are remotely distinguishable. Great movie, fascinating, roots.:ylsuper:
