What restaurant should/could I wait tables at?

    Yep, people tip by percentage of the total bill. Higher priced food and all the drinks and wine you can sell them.

    I worked at SouthEnd Brewery at the lake for about a year or so. They're closed now, but their flagship restaurant is on South Blvd. It's not a bad organization to work for and the money is better than average.

    What I meant by that was that I wasn't a teen/early twenty kid that these places don't like to hire, not that I was a master server.

    If they have a 'George's Garage' in Charlotte, would be a good place to wait tables.

    I can speak from experience on waiting tables in the University area: dont do it, to many canadians. Find a job downtown or on the south end of town.

    What restaurant should/could I wait tables at?

    i'd choose one where they do not end sentences with prepositions. odds are you will do better in tips.
