I'm 29, and want a nice place to try and apply. I've got waiter experience at Lonestar several years ago, but I don't want to work at a chain. I'd like to make a little more coin for my hour. I live in the University area but I'm new to the city (again) and don't know where any good joints are. Help me give you good service at your favorite nice place.

Serve from the left, clear from the right.

Serve from the Driver's side, Clear from the Driver's side. I curbhopped at Blacks BBQ back in the 60's. That's the way we did it.

If I ever had to take a waiter job, I'd go for one of those pricey french restaurants or something like that. Seems the better tips would come from the higher priced meals as long as the service was decent and the customer wasn't a complete asshole.
