    A blurb from PFT:

"From the "Here's Why Preseason Predictions Don't Mean Sh-t" file, the Panthers have lost DT Kris Jenkins for the entire season, giving him at least nine months to eat lots of food and drink lots of al-kee-hol."

Maybe he did lie. Question, all the cash that NFL has and the teams rake in, why the fuck don't they have an MRI at the freaking stadium? If they did one during the game, maybe your second comment, partial tear, may have been picked up. Dunno and we never will I guess.

It's kinda like when you get a girl kinda pregnant the first time...then do it again and get her more pregnant.

an MRI takes about 45 min to an hour to do. he would have missed most of the rest of the game. if you are getting an MRI, chances already are its something pretty serious.

You don't need an MRI - all you need to do have him bend his knee and see if you can pop his calf forward. If you can, he's torn his acl.

If they did send him back in, the only way to do it without possibly hurting him more would be if he had a prescription brace.

was sort of answering HP question on why no MRI at stadium....

of course it could alleviate the "will be evaluated on Monday" routine

Putting him back in was inexcusable. Of course the player is going to want to play, and the coach is going to be tempted to use him because the game was still in the balance, but you have to know better than that. I don't care if it didn't complicate the injury (which I think it did, even assuming he had already torn the ACL), it would still be a tremendously stupid risk to take. Of all our failings on Sunday, that was the one I found to be most shocking and most inexcusable.
