    Maybe. Beating Miami is big, but I'd say Dook and Wake hold his balls in their hands. If the Heels lose to either or both, especially Dook, he's still toast. But if he beats them, and the Heels own Tobacco Road, then it will be hard to get rid of him this year.

    I think Bunting is safe - unless he loses to dook. I don't think the fans can stomach another dook loss.

    It's hard to hate the guy - and I don't think he's the right coach for UNC - but I would rather see him stay than the Heels go out and hire just anybody else hoping he does better.

    I would agree with this. If he wins out, it's mighty hard to turn him loose. If we don't get the damn bell back, he needs to pack his shit right after the game.

    UNC has a legitimate shot to win their last three games. VA Tech at home is winnable as is games with Wake and dook.

    If that happens and UVA beats Miami at home - then UNC finishes second in the ACC and goes to the Gator Bowl :scared2:


    oops - forgot about FSU - maybe VA Tech can knock them off for us.

    fsu only has nc state and duke left to play in conference. no va. tech this year.

    like it matters -- i want three more losses to get jeff bowden the hell out of here. that, or three more wins and give him a HC job at some podunk U.
