I am on Windows NT and share a server with about 20 other people. Everything runs through our server.

My question is if I delete my cookies could I possibly delete something that is shared by others on my server?

I have shit for brains when it comes to this technology stuff.

if you delete your cookies into the floor of your liberty, it can stink it up for months.

I'll take a stab at it. Deleting cookies on your server will not affect other users. Cookies are user-specific, and are stored on each client machine, not on a server.

Cookies are usually stored locally on your own PC. If you can delete cookies off the server, it means either your PC has been set to store your cookies on the server, or you have likely administrative access to the server. Neither of these scenarios is common, since hard drives are so large these days.

I wish I could set up my tasks scheduler to dump my cookies and net files every few days. This manual stuff wears me out.
