doesn't really address the question about people not being exposed to christianity having an opportunity to convert post facto.

All races and those of other religions will be given a chance for salvation as mentioned earlier. All races are Gods children and God is fair and just. So, God's word will be preached to those that have never heard the word.

Look at Ezekiel 44: 23-25 and Rev. 20: 5-6. in my thread before this one and you will see that all will be given opportunity for salvation.

When Jesus died and went to Hades and taught the Word and many accepted the truth and returned with to the right side of the gulf and is with Jesus now. Jesus brought back with him people that had been trapped in Hades since the time of Noah.

Jesus and the Elect will preach the word to the nations (gentiles) that have not heard the Word and even those that has not heard the Word in the christian churches.

There is a lot of false teaching going on in a high percentage of churches today. Such as...many preach that there will be a rapture. Not true. One of the best books to read the truth about who comes first is in Mark 13. In verse 14 it clearly tells who comes first..."abomination of desolation" which is anti-christ and tribulation continues until in verse 26 Christ returns and all are changed into spiritual bodies because the new heaven appears. Why do we change...because this is a different dimension. Those who know who comes first (anti-christ) are the Elect.

The Word will be preached during the millennium (1000 years) and those that accept or not accept will be judged at the end of millennium at the great white throne judgement. So, when anyone hears the Word during this 1000 year I don't know but my estimation there has been about 12 billion souls created by God and how many billions will be in hades I don't know. I think it will take time to cover each and every person.

There is at least 18 scriptures that talk about the Elect. Three of my favorites are Isaiah 42:1, Isaiah 65:9 Ephesians 1:4-5.

Ezekiel 44:23-25 has nothing to do with the millenial reign. It's a list of instructions for the priesthood of Israel to return to a state of favor with God after falling away.

Revelation 20:5-6 is referring to the judgment of those who died during the Tribulation period after accepting the mark of the beast.

For the record, the Bible doesn't say outright that the spirits He preached to were in Hades (it says "spirits in prison" -- [1 Peter 3:19], although I agree it's probably true.

But the people Jesus witnessed to weren't those who lived since the time of Noah, it was those who lived in the time of Noah, right up to the flood.

As far as the original question of the thread goes, the best Biblical answer I've seen is found in Romans 2:12-16. Paul wrote:

In other words, those who don't know Christ will be judged by Him according to what they do know, and how they lived in relation to that knowledge.

Ezekiel chapters 40 thru 48 is about the millennium.

Rev. 5-6 are those that receive and believe the the Word delivered to them and will be jdged at end of 1000 years at the Great White Throne Judgement including those that died during the Trib.

Question: What is the Mark of the Beast?

Hades/prison is spoken of at least 54 times in the Old and New Testaments.

1 Peter 4:6 Jesus spoke to those that are dead...spiritually and are in hades or the bad side of the gulf. These are the ones going back to the time of Adam and Eve and up the time Jesus rose from the grave and went to hades and preached.
