What does this stuff mean ?

    I downloaded a free virus check and ran it and this is the results--------

    That ado.cab is a Win95/98 cabinet file. Cabinet files are like zipped files, but are categorized for installation programs to access. That one is in your Windows installation folder. Looks like a virus may have infiltrated it.

    Should I just delete everything and reformatt?

    Reinstalling Windows should replace all of those CAB files.

    Not sure about that. I've always had to copy them manually.

    Copying the cab files from the Windows 95/98 CD would replace them, but there's still the matter of the virus, or whatever it is.

    Get some virus protection software, and keep it updated.

    I don't have a virus according to my on-line McCaffe. I went to audio galaxy and it gave me a free virus thing and I just ran it to have something to do.

    I would go with the McAfee assessment over the other, especially if you aren't having any problems.

    I can't find the 'com.tsr.virus' anywhere, so that software you ran probably is just trying to scare you. We know you ain't skeert.
