  1. Kevin Steele when he was with the Panthers as a linebackers coach?

He was an ILB coach if I remember right. He did OK,but he also never really developed anyone. I don't think Sam Mills, Carlton Bailey, or Michael Barrow really needed to be told anything, but picks like Tarek Saleh and Kinnon Tatum flopped.

Kevin Greene choked the fuck out of him, and while Kev's mental, there must've been a reason as well.

    Why do you ask?

(Edit) Ahh I see now...shit. His Baylor team was getting the holy shit kicked out of it like it was going against some manic 13 year old master of NCAA Football 2002.

    >>Before Baylor's 70-22 season-opening loss at California
    >>Baylor lost to Texas Tech 62-11 on Saturday. Since beating Kansas 35-32 on Oct. 5 to break their 29-game Big 12 losing streak, Baylor has been outscored 181-21 in four games, including shutouts by Texas A&M and Colorado. The Bears lost to Kansas State 44-10.

Real ass whippings. Kansas must suck bad to lose to these bitches.

Never knew Steele was a Tenessee linebacker. Also didn't know he was one of Tom Osborne's boys.

  6. Steele got fired today as Baylor coach, but will be allowed to finish out the season. Reading the article, it said he was up-and-coming defensive assistant as linebackers coach with the Panthers. Just figured I'd get you guy's perspective before I posted the link.

Steele loses job despite ending Big 12 losing streak

I believe I read several weeks ago (Can't remember where) that Kevin would be on the short list of possible assistants moving back to Nebraska if (make that when) there is a shake up of the Husker staff at the end of this year.

As for Baylor.... who would take that job? No way a coach can win there.

Edit: One other thing.... Fuck Mike Leach. No class running it up bastard. No way Baylor can compete with his kids at Texas Tech and they drop 60+ on the Bears anyway to get the QB big numbers. I hope teams just KILL the Red Raiders after Kingsbury leaves. BTW - I know Kliff left the game with a bum foot, but try RUNNING THE BALL a little when you are up 4 TD's in the second half instead of throwing it all day.
