I got that Witherspoon some where I believe---scratched up bad. I have some Tyree Glenn and he can make a trombone sound like a baby talking.

    re: Reb
I have the Monk/Coltrane w/Coleman Hawkins, Art Blakey, et al.
Very familiar with Hancock's work w/Miles, but not the Stone Flute. Have to admit ignorance to the Witherspoon/Webster also.

If you like that period of Trane you might want to check out his
STARDUST SESSION. This recording(s) was previously released with other sessions on two or three cds, but fairly recently combined to one cd [which, IMO, is the way it should have been done in the first place].
[How about that "Trinkle, Tinkle" head, eh?]

In my car I keep flipping back and forth between Mezzanine by Massive Attack and Ditch Diggin' by Southern Culture. Not exactly the same genre...

    SCOTS. What a great band.

I listened to the Phish Mountian View 99 show with Phil Lesh this afternoon. Heaven's music I tell ya. YEM>into Wolfman, into Phil singing Cold Rian and Snow and Viola Lee Blues.

The bass duet is just mindblowing.
