Wesley makes for an interesting nickel. When he was playing the outside during the game he tended to back off on some plays, like they use him in their cover three sets. Made sense, the Saints aren't a team you go cover two against unless you've got lockdowns.

Either way, most of the guys we brought in initially didn't work. Cousin did, McDaniel really didn't, Vinson didn't, Taylor didn't, hard to say what Fair would've done. That other guy...a rare blank for me, it'll come to me tonight, y'all know who I'm talking about. He was supposed to be the starter.

It's nice that Cousin showed up like he should have and that Howard/Wesley make for something interesting. But some of those guys were just a crapshoot and when we have ten backs in here looking for four spots (not including undrafteds and street FAs) that's gonna be a damn mess.

I read that it's about $60K. Nice work if ya can get it.

The only thing negative about today was the fact we gave up a 100yd rusher finally. I don't remember us giving that up all year, great job.

damn did deuce get 100 ?

I read the other day where the Panthers hadn't given up a 100 rusher or a 300 yard passer all year - so that was the first.

Magnus, you are thinking of DeRon Jenkins...

I wonder if we'll resign Reggie or if they think that Donte Wesley will be able to fill the void... should be interesting - I wonder how much Reggie will command salary-wise.

I thought Wiggins and Wallace did a hell of a job and even the though the OL did a good job, it still needs to be updated.
I saw things out of Moose that I haven`t seen much of this year, a solid concentration effort throughout the whole game.
    Good work you guys.
Purple heart goes to Todd S.
    Rashard Anderson should be gone.

Yeah he got 117 on us and as far as I know that's the only one this year. That's fucking cool, the last few years it was more like if we kept someone under 100 it was noteworthy. Great job.

So at 3-0, the Panthers were considered the worst 3-0 team ever, the Saints were the best 3-0 team ever, beating 3 play-offs team from the previous year. Now in Week 17, the Panthers kick their ass. Put that in you pipe and smoke it media.

I still can't get past if the Panthers would have signed Jurivisous and McCardell where we'd be right now.

Mike Rucker got his 10th sack. He's been close so many times the past few weeks, I'm glad he finally got it.

I'm proud of this defense. I'm proud that our guys showed more heart when we could have folded it in. Our defense shut down arguabley the most talented offense in the NFC without Peppers or Morgan. Rucker kicked Turley in the teeth. Deon did his best Minter impression on Stallworth and Horn, who might want to shut his big mouth next time. Terry Cousins played with heart like he has all season, and the ball fell to him. Fields was a monster against his former team.

Game ball goes to Del Rio. Great calls all game.

Another thing... Tuten has played decent the last few weeks also. I was against him starting but he played pretty good. He gto beat yesterday by Grant but overall I think he stepped in and played good.
