Chargers | Jammer Could Sit - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
7:39 PT: Jay Paris reports for the North County Times it is starting to look like San Diego Chargers unsigned, rookie CB Quentin Jammer is preparing to sit out the season, if the Chargers don't increase their contract offer.

Thank God Richardson wouldn't let this happen.

Man, I'd love to score that guy. No way I'd trade a #1 for him, but shit.

I would offer up a couple of picks - a 2 and 3. See what they think. He would be worth that. We could cut Dilbert and use dat cash to sign the guy. Sounds good to me.

    Yeah.

Even then, It'll be interesting to see how our corners do this year, and our qb's. They were the question marks for this year.

If Howard and another step up, corner may be OK. I'd prefer Leftwich (I'm sold as can be) and a STUD WR over Jammer, right now at least. Seems we could get a good WR in round 2 next year.

But yeah, Jammer seems the playmaker. They are screwing him.

  5. so what happens next year...does he re-enter the draft or is he still SD's property?

As long as he hasn't signed a contract I think he can sign somewhere as a free agent.

I think he re-enters the draft.

I dunno. When has this happened.

  8. Did McKenzie ever sign in Minn? Last I heard ole Red McCombs was going to decrease their offer everyday until he signs.
