I hope so, but my expectation is that he's a shell of what he was and it's not like he was a great player to begin with.

No, he wasn't great, but he was good, and at times, very good. Most importantly, he's probably an upgrade we desperately need.

I share your fears though, that he's a shadow or his former self, but it's a chance worth taking I feel.

I think Peter Pan's shadow would be an upgrade over what we have now . :twocents:

    Well...yes.

Yes, it would. At least a shadow would make it appear as if someone were there to block.

    Jets just released Stephen Peterson.

Vet...Lions and Jets for a breath...could push, depending on where Wharton winds up, but is he any better than Piggy?

FFS sake Peterman sucks, that Lions OL has sucked for 15 years at least.

Of more concern than who the team can get is whether or not Gross still gives a fuck. It's entirely possible that the contract shenanigans have him checked out mentally.

Not sure if you've noticed what's going on around here, but so do we.

Maybe Williams is better. But at this point, I'm willing to check out any names of guys who've been in the league for a few years and have shown they can stick around.

I'd like to believe he does...I just wonder if he gives a shit if Cam makes it out in one piece or not.

His segment with Jake was eerily like a Hey #1, this is what a leader is kind of thing. Though I don't believe that was the intention going in.
