I honestly don't see any hope with Mac's morning drive show as it is. If the station feels he has something to offer, then at least gives us an alternative sportstalk show on one of the stations of the "franchise".....

 

Anybody know what Celania did to get in the doghouse ? I heard he said something inappropriate to a female guest ?

 

I'd drive the Bobcats there myself.

 

Listened to Packer for 4 minutes yesterday. He covered the game 7's in about a minute, you can tell he read the box scores but obviously didn't watch the games. Yes, both were blowouts but one game was actually close until the 4th while the Laker game was over in the 1st. Anyway, the other three minutes were spent talking about how much better MNF would be with Gruden.

Broadcasters talking about broadcasters. If they wonder why their ratings are in the toilet, they shouldn't. They don't even watch sports. And who gives a fuck what broadcasters are working on MNF in MAY?

 

Its sad how far it has the station has fallen. i'll listen to pack on teh way home from work from 5 to 5:20 and then change it as soon as qcb is introduced. Remember Jon Metaperel (flashboy)? At least he was entertaining for his tidbits. The mornnig show used to be awesome when Dave Jagler, TC, and Gary Williams ran it. Now I cant listen to Mac at all. I have discovered this other stuff on the radio called music. I hadnt listed to it in the car for a really long time, but fnz has drove me back to it.

 

The Morning Sports Page sucked balls the whole time that clown TC was on the show.....He was a total waste of airtime whenever he tried to "add" any comment. The best thing WFNZ has EVER done was to flush that piece of crap down the toilet. TC makes Mac look like a fvrkn sports talk genius.

 

Can't comment on the original morning lineup as it was when I was living in Raleigh, but Flashboy was awesome. Definitely an unsung hero of the finest local sportstalk show.

 

I think Flashboy is still at WEEI in Bahston working on the Morning Show . . . . Has it been 10 years since he was here? Man, times flies when your older !!!!

So the Magic pull off a big upset, the Canes gear up for big game tonight, the Yankees are on a roll, and what do we get? Talk about whether fans like WWE over the NBA.

Sometimes, caller-driven shows aren't such a good thing. There's a lot of fans who listen, but dont' call or email in who actually want to hear discussion about real events. Save this stuff for the dog-days of summer.
