    I'm not a huge fan of cowherd, but ANYONE who cuts time from Mac/Celania ( near death, always "sick")/ Frank /Buck is a win for me.

    Now if we can just get another show before Cowherd, and another after Cowherd, we'll be headed in the right direction.

    Cowherd is not for everyone...he is glib and quick-witted and strongly opinionated and that is what makes his show entertaining for many where others just see him as arrogant. He is not fake like Jim Rome, but Rome is entertaining too, just a bit strong on the heavily produced aspects of his personality....Rome gets good guests, though.

    The national hosts are all good in some ways or they could never land those jobs....I bet they never feature Johnny from Effingham (over & over) or anything as worthless.

    Rome's more legit than Cowherd, he's been doing that show for decades now. Cowherd seems a LOT more manufactured than Rome to me, especially now that's he's forcing a bad tv show. Did anyone see him firing nerf guns last week? Rome would never sink to that level of juvenile behavior. Stick with talking, Cowherd, leave the weekend weather guy antics to the weekend weather guy.

    I hate losing Todd Wright at 10 pm but getting rid of David Stein(sp) is a major improvement on overnights

    personally I prefer Cowherd over Rome but it's just a matter of taste both are people that have some ways people just dont care for

    It's all moot for me cause living in South Charlotte (way south) I'm unable to receive FNZs signal at night. The loss of the 1660 station means I can't casually listen to sports talk at night currently. I guess I need to hook up a media pc and figure out some internet radio for the house.

    I certainly prefer Cowherd to anyone we've had locally at noon since Penner left a VERY mediocre show with Mac.

    Sports Babe ugh! that had to be the the worst sports show in radio history,she makes Frank and Buc look like gold

    thanks to flycast on my iphone, i get to listen to wfnz. not much has changed over the years, but at least it's panthers talk.
